2025 Chevy Traverse Redesign
For its 2025 model, the full-size crossover SUV Chevrolet Traverse is expected to experience considerable alterations. The third-generation Chevy Traverse, scheduled for sale in 2025, will feature several modifications and enhancements to strengthen Chevy’s position in the full-size crossover market.
The exterior of the 2025 Chevy Traverse is expected to alter, along with the trim level lineup and the powertrain. The cabin will also be updated, bringing a fresh design and cutting-edge technological features. The car will be built on the same platform as existing GM front-drive cars and crossovers, the VSS-F vehicle set.
Engine Performance
The six trim levels for the Traverse will be LS, LT Cloth, LT Leather, RS, Premier, and High Country. A 3.6-liter V6 engine with a nine-speed automated gearbox and 310 horsepower, and 266 lb-ft of torque will be used in all variants. All-wheel drive will be an option; front-wheel drive will be required.
Along with a variety of engine choices, the 2025 Traverse will also be available with a new 2.0L I-4 turbo engine with automatic engine stop/start, a potential twin-Turbo 3.0L V-6 LGW (gasoline) engine in a performance variant, a new turbo-diesel engine for specific markets, and possibly electric plug-in hybrid/PHEV and pure battery-electric variants.
Interior Design
The Traverse’s interior will continue to wow with its roominess. While most trims only have room for seven passengers, the LS comes standard with eight seats, with the LT offering eight as an option. A pair of captain seats will replace the second-row bench seats. With the double and triple rows folded, the vehicle’s cargo volume increases from 23 cubic feet to 98.2 feet.
Features
The 2025 Traverse won’t fall short in terms of technology. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus System with Connected Navigation and an 8-inch diagonal HD color touchscreen, Alexa Built-In, In-Vehicle Apps like Spotify, and USB connections in every row are just a few of its features.
The 2025 Traverse will also include several safety features, such as automatic high beams, lane-keeping assistance, front collision warning with automated emergency braking and pedestrian detection, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and a Teen Driver feature.
Price Release
The 2025 Chevy Traverse is anticipated to have a starting price in the $35,000 to $45,000 range. The 2025 Chevy Traverse is expected to go on sale in the autumn of 2025, while it has yet to be made clear where GM will manufacture the next-generation Traverse.
